Today we drove to Esperance. We listened to the Enchanted Wood on a CD. When we arrived, we went to the beach and got an ice-cream. I had chocolate, Emily had cookies and cream and so did Harry. Then we did the great ocean drive. On the great ocean drive we found pink lake. There was a stunning lookout. After, we went to the wind farm. There were alot of wind turbines. They made 30% of Esperance's power. We had fish and chips for dinner. They were nice and crispy. Finally, we went back and watched Muriels wedding.

Day 135 - 24th November - Wave Rock

Today we packed up as we did yesterday and drove to Wave Rock. Guess what it looks like. If you guessed, a rock that looks like a wave, you are correct. We got to walk on the vrey top which was quite a good experience. I would recommend it because it was fun. We surfed on the wave. Then I found a shingleback lizard. They are the ones that look like they have two heads. It was very hot and the flies drove you insane. Then we went to Hippo rock. The rock looked like a hippo yawning. I found a hippos head and mum founds it's bottom. It was right next to it. Then we drove and drove and drove to Ravensthorpe where we are staying for the night.

Day 134 - 23rd November 2011 - to Lake King

Today we got up and got ready to the Discovery land. I did a plaster parrot. It was fun. Then we had a look in the museum. There was a movie in the museum where they were wrapping apples. Dad said that's what it was like when he was a kid. Mum was on the phone so she missed it. Then we drove and drove and drove to Lake King.

Today we packed up and left for Albany.We stopped at a dinosaur land where there was a cool bird that said "Hello darling" and "bye bye" and "what you doing".There where a lot of skeletons of dinosaurs.After we went to a honey wine factory where we had an ice cream and mum and dad did some wine tasting.In Albany we are staying at a Big4.There is a grand playground. We went to the post-office and posted some postcards and gifts. We went to a boat where we got audio tours. It was fun. The boat was a reconstruction of the Brigg Amity. It was used to bring convicts to Albany. Where the convicts were it was a very enclosed space. Then we went to discovery land at the museum. I put on some dress ups and Harry and Emily did a plaster frog and butterfly. Then I watched the man make the shark. It was a shark made of wire and paper mache. Then we went to the super market and after Harry, Emily and I had chicken treat which is sort of KFC .Mum and dad had Indian.

Today we went and found the playground at the caravan park. It was very tall. Mum and dad worked up until lunchtime. After lunch we went to the Valley of the Giants where we did the treetop walk. It was a little disappointing because I thought we would be walking on the branches. Then we did the Ancient Empire walk. This one was just on the ground. It was quite exciting because you got to wealk through the middle of the trees. They were giant tingle trees. After, we went to the giant Tingle tree. It had a hole in it and you could stand in it. It had room to park a car in there. Almost. Last but certainly not least, we went to circular pool. It looked like there was a cappuccino in the water. It looked weird. The water was brown because it was taking all the tannins out of the leaves and things that fell in it. It was frothy because there were lots of rocks and rapids there.

Day 131 – 20th November 2011 – To Walpole

Today we went to the shearing sheds where we fed some ewes. After, we saw a man shear a sheep. Then we met two dogs that round up sheep. A kelpie that jumps on top of them and a border collie that rounds them up.  We fed three baby lambs. I got to be the rouseabout, so I got to sweep up the excess wool when the shearer finished. Harry got to be the wool presser. He had to stomp on the wool to make it into bales. Then we had lunch and drove to Walpole. It was quite a long drive.

Today we had chocolate pancakes for breakfast. Then we went to the lighthouse. It is at Cape Leeuwin. We did a tour of the lighthouse. At the top on the balcony it was really windy.  It is the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia.  Then we went to Jewel cave. There was a nice little shop at the start. Then there was the wonderful, spectacular cave.  We did a tour and it is called jewel cave because a lady spotted some stalactites and stalagmites that she thought looked like a jewellery box. We didn’t think so. In the cave, there is the longest straw in Australia. It is the second longest in the world.  Then we went to one last spectacular, wonderful cave. There were alot more colourful lights in this one but the tour was very short. It was called Lake cave because there’s lots of water in it. There was also a floating table which is very unusual. Then we went to a winery where we tasted and bought kids wine. (It’s the grape juice and we like the red).

Today we went to alot more wineries. First mum worked until 10am then we went out for breakfast. I had pancakes and Harry and Emily had bacon and eggs. After that we went to the chocolate factory. We got chocolate fondue. It was yummy. Then we went to the lighthouse at Cape Naturaliste.  Mum was in the car working but we had a look around there.  On the way back we went to Simmos ice-creamery. I got apple pie. Then we played mini-golf. Dad won by 1 point. We played 18 holes.

Day 128 – 17th November 2011 – Margaret River

Today we went to lots of different wineries. Then we went to the Olive Oil factory. We tasted lots of different oils, then we bought some parmesan oil, passionfruit oil and some others.

Day 127 – 16th November 2011 – to Margaret River

Today we drove to Margaret River. It is famous for its wine. When we arrived, we went to a winery where mum and dad tasted some wine. We also went to the cheese factory. We could walk to both of these from our caravan park. Mum and dad got some cheese, Harry got a milkshake and Emily and I got an ice cream. Then we went back and we all found some friends at the caravan park.
